The Odessa-Montour Central School District is dedicated to meeting the needs of all children in the district. We accept new students throughout the school year. Our district has a one point entrance system for all grade levels in our district. To register a child or children for school, parents Must call the Central Registrar Denise Day at 607-594-3341 ext. 3801 to schedule an appointment. The District Central Registrar’s office is located in the Jr./Sr. High School. Registration forms can be mailed to the parent at their request or can be filled out during their scheduled appointment.

The following documents are REQUIRED to register your child/children in the Odessa-Montour Central School District:

Proof of Birth: Birth certificate, record of baptism giving the date of birth, passport, state or governmental ID, hospital or health records, other documents from federal/state/local agencies (Department of Social Services) etc.

Proof of Residence: Utility bill, rental agreement: (lease), purchase offer on a home, mortgage, bank statements, income tax form, driver’s license, voter registration card etc. IT MUST SHOW YOUR NAME AND PHYSICAL ADDRESS, NOT A P.O. BOX.

**If you reside with someone else; they must show the above proof of residence as well as have a notarized statement indicating that the parent and the student/students are residing with them.

Immunization Records: Up-to-date record of immunization from a licensed physician or clinic

**As of June 13, 2019 New York State no longer has a religious exemption to required immunizations.

Custody Papers: If there are court issued custody papers the district should be given a copy of them upon registration

**When parents share joint custody; and physical placement is with only one parent the following needs to be submitted to the district when registering. The parent who has the physical placement must provide the district with a notarized statement giving their permission for the child/children to reside with the parent who does not have physical placement.
