We are at an exciting juncture in New York State regarding educational policy and graduation requirements.
In November 2023, the New York State Blue Ribbon Commission (BRC) on Graduation Measures presented its recommendations for future diploma requirements to the Board of Regents. Since then, the New York State Education Department (NYSED) has developed a vision to implement these recommendations.
Whether you are an educator or a member of the public, your input is highly valued, and NYSED invites you to participate in a forum on the BRC's recommendations.
Attendees will have the opportunity to join smaller group discussions and provide feedback on NYSED's proposed vision for implementing the Commission's recommendations.
