On April 8th a group of students traveled to see the total Solar Eclipse at Sampson State Park. Despite the cloudy skies students were able to see glimpses of the partial eclipse. At 3:22 PM a hush fell across the park as the skies went dark for approximately one minute. When totality occurred the night lights could be seen across the lake and the edge of the moon’s shadow could be seen in the distance. As the light returned, two C-130 planes flew over the park and tipped their wings. A video of the total eclipse can be seen on the school’s Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/reel/456655716933190
We are excited to announce our new building principals! Welcome to Odessa-Montour!

Congratulations to seniors Bradley and Gina who will continue their academic and athletic careers in college. Bradley will attend Alfred University and play football while Gina will attend Elmira College and play basketball.

Tomorrow morning (Friday, February 16th) Bus 57 will be without a driver. This route covers Cayutaville, Fowler, Coddington and County Route 10. We are asking for the help of our Bus 57 families for tomorrow morning. For those families who are able to transport their child, we greatly appreciate your help. If you are unable to transport your child, please call the district office as soon as possible so that we can arrange for alternate transportation. The district number is 607-594-3341 extension 4100. Again, this affects Bus 57 students only for tomorrow morning.
Please know that we continue to work on a long-term solution for the driver shortage we are experiencing and we are actively recruiting bus drivers and substitute drivers.
Congratulations Lucas on your Sectional win at 116lb weight class!! We are all rooting for you at States!
